Kahaani is an organisation that we, two highschool juniors that are eager to make a difference, have founded. We will be conducting weekly sessions at government schools, during which we will be reading stories to the children and teaching them grammar, spoken english, and mathematics. Our aim is to make an impact, however small.

Why Kahaani?
Kahaani is the Hindi word for story. We chose this name because we want this organisation to tell the story of the children who dont have the same opportunities as us. The story of the children who are smart, driven and passionate but were 'once upon a time' neglected due to their circumstances. Kahaani strives to change the stories of their lives, with a happily ever after in mind.​
Why Storytelling?
Stories have always had a profound impact on us, epecially when we were younger. Our parents would read bedtime stories and we'd fall asleep in the comfort of the hazy world of fantasy and adventure. We want to bring these children that same sense of comfort, Joy and secuirity by whisking them away into the world of fiction, and make an impact, however small.
